You’ll also have some decisions to make about your role in the world, however. The game will let you explore, do some crafting, trade, learn to farm, and skill up. The small pre-alpha will be done under NDA but they do promise more open alpha periods later.Īs a sandbox MMO taking place in one massive world that everyone can leave their mark on, and permanently change, BitCraft emphasizes the social aspects and player decisions, so these early groups of testers have the potential to make a pretty significant impact. Start small and give feedback and there should be significant changes coming in in the future. They want to know how the game mechanics work with live players and in a controlled environment.īecause this is pre-alpha, this is the stage where things can be early and quite messy, but that’s where testers come in, of course. The devs say that their goal is to get a small group of players to give them first impressions and feedback, but do plan to grow this over time as they get the data needed. It’s still possible to sign up for pre-alpha testing if you want to take part in helping the development of the sandbox MMO.
